The film will tell what Alexis and Sylvia Marrokin experienced in their journey to freedom from El Salvador to the United States. The film will be a series of interviews of Alexis and Sylvia Marrokin and “The El Gringo Schindler,” whose actions resulted in the brother and sister getting their Green Cards in 2021. Like other RIPfilms, multiple recreations will allow the audience to experience the emotion of this truly remarkable story.
The entire family will play significant roles in the film. I plan to shoot part of the film in El Salvador. I plan to journey back to El Salvador with Alexis and Sylvia. I hope the brother and sister will show places seldom seen in the United States. I plan to steer clear of politics and concentrate on the humanity of his story.
